About

Inaugural Wavelengths is an extension of my thoughts, my workings, and a portion of my projects. It is an insight into myself and those around me.

I hold my Bachelor Degree in the Arts with majors in both Journalism and Creative Writing & Literature, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Creative and Professional Writing. In July 2019, I completed my Master’s Research Degree in the Arts by writing an experimental, creative non-fiction novella on Australian surfer Taj Burrow while exploring the cultural impacts of surf-writing through voice in thesis form.

Not only am I an avid writer, I have also worked in the marketing and events industry for over 5 years. After recently finishing up with Billabong, and the team at Surf Dive ‘n Ski, I now find myself working alongside Major Events Co., Liive Visions and Far King Surf. My expertise align closely with traditional marketing strategies and social media advertising. Though a creative at heart, I am a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to projects.

I am the founder of the Gold Coast Magazine Us Wayfarers (which I closed in 2016) and have a passion for literature, surfing, music, and the arts. I am a sucker for motorbikes. I’m a half-hearted photographer yet a devoted book worm. I live on the Gold Coast.
